Day 01: Cochin / Athirapally (02 Hrs Drive)

You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and transferred to Niraamaya Resort. In the afternoon, visit Athirapilly waterfalls and Vazhachal Waterfalls. The Athirappilly Falls are situated on the Chalakudy river, which originates in the upper reaches of the Western Ghats. Thekkady

Day 02: Athirapally – Thekkady (05 Hrs 35 Min Drive)

Drive to Periyar /Thekkady an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel.Enjoy a spice plantation tour today where you will be enticed by not only the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg but will also get to know how they are grown, harvested and processed before they reach the supermarkets. Rest of the day at leisure & stay overnight at Niraamaya Cardamon Club, Thekkady - Garden View Cottage.

Day 03: Thekkady

Morning go for Boat ride on Lake Periyar, with the observation of bird and wildlife, antelopes, buffaloes, boars, elephants.Periyar boating (inside the Periyar wild life sanctuary) Later in the evening, get transferred to the theatre to experience traditional cultural and art show. Return back to the hotel in the evening and enjoy time at leisure.Overnight at Niraamaya Cardamon Club, Thekkady - Garden View Cottage.

Niraamaya Kumarakom

Day 04: Kumarakom (03 Hrs Drive)

The next Day of the tour starts after breakfast with a drive to Kumarakom. A Kerala family tour package is incomplete without a trip to this village settlement on the Vembanad Lake. Meandering waterways, canopies of coconut trees, and many other sights make this a memorable destination for most visitors. Upon arrival, you will be checking in to Coconut Lagoon - Heritage Bungalow. The afternoon will be for unwinding at this beautiful backwater resort. The overnight stay will be NIraamaya Retreats Backwaters and beyond, Kumarakom - Superior Lake View Villa.

Niraamaya Kovalam

Day 05: Kovalam (04 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, you will be disembarking the houseboat and our transfer services will take you to Kovalam. After checking in at the beach resort, the rest of the day is to stroll through the sands and witness the sundown on Kovalam’s scenic horizon. Overnight stay at Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra, Kovalam - Rock Garden King Room.

Day 06: Kovalam

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Kovalam. On arrival check into the hotel. After refresh you can go for the sightseeing of Trivandrum [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260 year old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200 year old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja's], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, Zoo, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Afternoon free at leisure on the beach. Evening drive back to Kovalam & stay overnight Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra, Kovalam - Rock Garden King Room.

Departure

Day 07: Departure (30 Min Drive)

The morning after breakfast departure transfer to Trivandrum International Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.
