HOW TO SEE INDIA IN TWO WEEKS?

Travel guide on how to plan our trip to India for 2 weeks

Do you have India on your travel bucket list? Do you dream of covering all the states of India? Do you want to be witness to the diverse landscape of India - from mountains to rivers, from plateaus to plains, from forests to waterfalls?

If it’s yes to the above questions, then Kerala Tour Packages can make your dream true. We have several holiday packages in India such as North India tour package, South India tour packages, Delhi Agra Jaipur tour package from Kerala, and many more. Our India tour package can help you to show you the best that the country has to offer in just 2 weeks. You can check out our India tour packages with prices you can't resist to have a better understanding. Before going on to the details of the package, let’s first understand the beautiful enigma that India is.

India is a huge and diverse land. The subcontinent is known for being the melting pot of incredible natural beauty, culture, heritage, and wildlife. Each region of this country is going to open up unimaginable vistas of experiences for you.

The sheer diversity of geography, culture, ethnicity, religion, and language will be enough to enthral you. The topography of the subcontinent has different landscapes from the Himalayas in the North to the beaches in the South, the jungles in the East to the deserts in the West. On the other hand, there are the great architectural masterpieces built by the erstwhile rulers of the region.

It is difficult to see cover the whole of India within two weeks. North India is well known for the heritage monuments like Taj Mahal in Agra, Qutab Minar in New Delhi and the Palaces of Rajasthan showcasing the greatest Mughal architecture. It is recommended to start with New Delhi, Agra and jaipur popularly called the Golden Triangle tour. The Taj Mahal in Agra is the best-known building in the world and arguably the most beautiful. The architecture is sublime but it is the story that the stones embody that draws seven million visitors each year.

The monument is a symbol of the great love between the Mughal emperor Shahjahan and his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. They could not bear to be parted and Mumtaz would often travel with her husband even into war. It was on one such battlefield in 1631 that she died after giving birth to their 14th child.

Over the next 14 years, Shahjahan employed the empire’s best architects, builders and craftsmen to design this vision in white marble, decorated with precious and semi-precious stones sourced from all over Asia.

Jantar Mantar will show how wisely the old kings use astronomical calculations, the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is one of five such buildings built by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur. The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest stone observatory in the world and attracts large crowds. The City Palace in Jaipur and the light and sound show at Amber Fort are worth seeing.

The Southern part of India is not to be missed for the sensational sceneries of nature. A stopover at Mumbai, the largest Indian city which is the centre of Indian financial institutions and Indian film industry (Bollywood)

Kerala is blessed by nature and a great place to relax and explore. The history of Fort Cochin, the spices and wildlife of Periyar, a unique houseboat stay with local cuisines to explore and relaxing on the Kovalam beach makes a serene Indian experience.
